PARTNER WITH US

WIISE operates as a multidisciplinary hub where research, industry, and social responsibility meet. Our approach is rooted in the belief that sustainable progress in the agrifood sector requires a balanced, two-way dialogue between technical innovation and the practical realities of the market. We offer our partners a reliable foundation of legal, technical, and strategic support, ensuring that collective research efforts result in operationally viable and socially valuable outcomes.

International collaboration is a defining element of our work. We participate in European research and innovation projects to stay at the forefront of the sector, sharing our findings to support the growth of our partners and the wider industry.

  • Established Network: With a history of collaborating with 87 partners across 25 countries, we bring a wealth of experience in navigating the dynamics of multi-actor consortia within the Horizon Europe, H2020, and PRIMA frameworks.
  • Integrated Compliance: We work alongside scientific partners from the early stages of development to ensure that new processes, alternative proteins, and circular economy initiatives are aligned with current European standards and policy directions.
  • Professional Outreach: Through our proprietary platforms, Great Italian Food Trade (GIFT) and Food Times, we provide an authoritative voice for project dissemination, ensuring that results reach technical stakeholders, industry leaders, and policymakers in a clear, multilingual format.

WIISE acts as a focused technical-legal resource within the Horizon Europe framework. We specialize in bridging the gap between scientific R&D and the European regulatory landscape, ensuring that project outputs are aligned with the Union’s long-term policy objectives.

We provide dedicated support across several key strategic areas:

  • Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources & Environment

We assist consortia in navigating the Farm to Fork strategy by providing regulatory mapping for protein diversification, food waste reduction (FLW), and the scaling of circular bio-based systems.

  • Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space

We support the industrial transition toward circularity by analysing the legal feasibility of upcycling technologies and the compliance of bio-based materials for the EU Single Market.

  • EU Missions: Soil Deal for Europe & Restore our Ocean

WIISE contributes to “Green” and “Blue” transitions by providing legal frameworks for marine side-stream valorisation and helping partners navigate the EU Fertilising Products Regulation to enable the safe use of circular nutrients.

  • European Green Deal & Circular Economy Action Plan

We act as a specialized mediator to ensure that project innovations—from novel ingredients to digital tools—comply with evolving standards for environmental claims and transparent supply chains.

As a specialized SME, we provide a streamlined and flexible approach to project implementation, adding “Regulatory Intelligence” to the Impact and Implementation sections of a proposal without the overhead of larger consultancies.

  • Regulatory Foresight: We monitor emerging EU directives (such as the New Genomic Techniques or the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) to help the consortium anticipate future market requirements.
  • Streamlined Compliance Pathways: We provide realistic assessments of the legal hurdles for high-TRL (Technology Readiness Level) innovations, helping to de-risk the transition from the laboratory to industrial application.
  • Multi-Actor Coordination: We facilitate communication between technical researchers and industrial partners, ensuring that project data is formatted and presented in a way that is “policy-ready” for institutional bodies.

WIISE acts as the central hub for all EU-funded research and social initiatives of our company, supported by our specialized division, FARE, which remains a cornerstone of 360-degree technical and legal consultancy for the agrifood industry.

Our collaborative environment is further defined by its social commitment:

  • WIISE as a Benefit Company: Our status as a Benefit Company (one of the only 500 benefit companies in Italy out of over 40000 enterprises) ensures that our participation in any project is guided by transparency, ethics, and a deep-rooted commitment to social and environmental value.
  • Inclusion and Rights: Through the non-profit Égalité and the social cooperative Égalitech, we maintain a holistic perspective on social justice, sustainable technology, and professional opportunities for vulnerable individuals.

We are always open to exploring new synergies with organizations that share our dedication to a safe, ethical, and innovative agrifood system.

Whether you are coordinating a new proposal or looking for a strategic partner with deep industry roots, WIISE offers a professional and multidisciplinary contribution to your project’s success.
