The company WIISE has developed as an ecosystem of activities that range from research and development to consulting and specialized information serving the growth of agrifood operators, supported by initiatives aimed at overcoming social inequalities.
The WIISE ecosystem includes the following units and activities:
WIISE is the hub for other entrepreneurial initiatives within its ecosystem; it is our division dedicated to research and development through participation in European and Mediterranean, international and national projects. WIISE acts as a bridge between the academic world, food supply chains, and related sectors (e.g., biotechnology, pharmaceutical-chemical), particularly for the exploitation of technological innovation (also from a legal and regulatory perspective) as well as the development of guidelines and best practices that always consider sustainability objectives.
FARE is the operational unit of WIISE benefit corporation s.r.l. dedicated to strategic, legal, technical, managerial, and commercial consulting for the agri-food sector.
GIFT (Great Italian Food Trade) is our privileged observatory on Italian agri-food excellence. Through this platform, we analyze the supply chains and products to promote connections and synergies among the most virtuous operators, buyers, and international communities. Our aim is to connect these entities to create synergies and new communities of interest.
FOODTIMES is our laboratory of ideas and independent information on the agri-food sector. It represents a window on the latest industry news, research, and innovation at the European and international levels, but above all, it serves as a reference point for understanding emerging scenarios, industry trends, and the new challenges and opportunities for operators connected to regulatory and technological changes. In-depth analyses and investigations on individual topics, including the theme of nutrition, complete the picture of useful resources available to our readers.
ÉGALITÉ is a non-profit organization, a tangible expression of our commitment to a more ethical and responsible food and agricultural system and society. The focus of Égalité’s activities is on health and social inclusion, fundamental rights related to food and the environment combined with rights of participation and community development, with particular attention to people with disabilities.
Operating until 2025, EGALITECH was a social cooperative dedicated to sustainable and inclusive mobility. The organization focused on engineering innovative solutions for people with disabilities—most notably the É-TRIKE project—to promote autonomy and reduce inequalities while providing essential support to vulnerable individuals and families.
